Yellow Sunflowers

Fresh sunflowers are definitely very easy to care for. Our sunflowers are shipped directly from the growing fields so that they will arrive on your doorstep as fresh as possible. They are shipped in partial bud form and will take 1-3 days to fully open. When you receive your order, open the box immediately and take a look at the flowers. Remove all packaging and remove any leaves that will fall below the water line in the vase. Hold the ends of the sunflower stems under running water and trim approximately 1 inch off the ends with a sharp knife. Place immediately in vases with fresh water and add flower food if desired (note: flower food is not included). Sunflowers have naturally arched necks and look best in a tall narrow vase. To maximize the life of your sunflowers, refresh the water in the vase and re-cut stems every day following the above steps.
